The honest answer is: I use five AIs and two systems. And they all have a specific job.
Here’s the full stack.
Claude — my thinking partner.
Writing, strategizing, working through decisions. When I need to think out loud with something that pushes back intelligently, this is the first tab I open. Most of my day lives here.
Gemini — my research engine.
Gemini has a home field advantage — it’s built by Google, runs on Google’s index, and connects directly to Gmail, Drive, and Docs. When I need to understand something deeply before making a decision, Gemini does the research. A typical Deep Research run reads 20 to 100+ sources and produces a structured report with citations — in under 15 minutes. Claude helps me figure out what to do with it.
Manus — my autonomous executor.
Manus doesn’t wait for the next prompt. You give it a goal, it plans the steps, executes them, and comes back with finished work. I hand it tasks with a clear finish line but too many steps to babysit. Assign it before I leave the desk. Come back to completed results.
n8n — my automation layer.
The connective tissue. n8n moves data between apps, triggers workflows, and makes things happen automatically so I don’t have to think about them. Not conversational at all — pure infrastructure.
Notion — my operating system.
Everything I need to think with lives here. Projects, SOPs, frameworks, active decisions, session notes. Notion is the brain. Every other tool in this stack feeds back into it.
Google Drive — my filing cabinet.
Everything I need to store lives here. Documents, files, assets, shared folders. If it needs to be accessed by someone else — or if it came out of Google Workspace — it goes in Drive.
The key distinction: I don’t duplicate. If something lives in Drive, Notion holds the link. One source of truth, two different jobs.
Google Workspace — my communication layer.
Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Docs. The coordination layer. Everything that involves other people runs through here.
